David Beckham's new Bodywear collection for H&M

In what might well have been designed as a pre-Valentine's Day gift, H&M has just released pictures of its latest collaboration with David Beckham. And this time around, the retired footballer and all-round heartthrob is getting in on the athleisure trend. His Bodywear line for the Swedish retailer launches on February 4 and features comfortable sportswear classics, such as sweatshirts and jogging bottoms.

There’s not many people who can team grey marl jogging bottoms and a beige jumper and not look like they’re indulging a sick day. But Beckham can. And given that Becks is credited with increasing sales of male underwear by 28 per cent after his last H&M underwear campaign, perhaps you'll soon start seeing your partner lounging around in trackie bums.
If so, be heartened by the fact that Becks really does wear this gear to shuffle around his London mansion. “Everything about my Bodywear for H&M has to be authentic. If I wouldn’t wear it then it doesn’t go in the collection!” commented the 40-year-old, who first linked up with H&M four years ago with a collection of briefs.
“I’m always trying to evolve the Bodywear collection, and include classic pieces like sweaters and track pants that I would wear out or at home.”
